DIVE Thailand monthly photo competition

The top three underwater photographs will be featured on diveguidethailand.com's web pages, including the home page, each month.

A prize from selected dive centres and others in Thailand's dive industry is awarded each month to the First Prize Winner.

How to enter

Step 1: First you need to select the prize you would like to win if your photograh is selected as the First Prize Winner. Click here to see the list of prizes available.

Step 2: Each prize will have a 'Tag Identifier'. Please make a note of the tag for the prize of your choice.

Step 3: Go to the DIVE Thailand flickr group page at http://www.flickr.com/groups/divethailand.

Step 4: If you're not already a member, join the DIVE Thailand group by following the instructions on the flickr page. If you don't already have a Yahoo identity, you will be asked to create one.

Step 5: Upload your photos (maximum 5 photos per month). Your photos must be approximately 1,000 pixels on the longest side. 'Tag' your photos with the 'Tag Identifier' related to the prize that you noted under Step 2 above and make sure you give your photo a title.

If you win First Prize, you will be contacted by us directly via your FlickrMail account and be given a unique verification code and instructions on how to claim your prize. Check back on www.diveguidethailand.com to see if your photo was selected in second or third place.

You may enter as many times as you like, provided that your photo submissions are different from previous months' entries.

Rules of entry

1. The deadline for receiving entries is the 25th of each month. Entries received after that will be judged in the following month.

2. Only underwater photographs will be considered.

3. All entries must be entirely original work, not defame anybody nor breach any copyright.

4. Photos that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization will be disqualified.

5. Photos without a Title and preferred prize Tag will not be judged.

6. Each entry may include an optional description.

7. If a winning entrant is unable to be contacted after 14 days we reserve the right to offer the prize to the next best entry.

8. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.

10. The validity/duration of each prize is at the discretion of the individual prize giver.

11. All prizes are subject to availability at time of booking.

12. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry which breaches any of these rules.

By entering this competition you are giving the publishers the right to publish your submitted photographs in the web and print versions of Pocket Guide DIVE Thailand in connection with the DIVE Thailand Underwater Photography Competition as described on this website and to feature you, should you win first prize, as a prize winner in promotional activity for Pocket Guide DIVE Thailand and www.diveguidethailand.com.
